The computers, before being applied as a communication and media device, were mainly developed as a cipher/decipher apparatus for messages in history. This work recreate an experience of decoding messages on a console station , through a combination of imaginative storytelling and interaction .
Several codes were placed around the Asia Society site. Besides, several digital images with historical references were put inside this machine. Hints of the location is given on the operation document. The operator can access the prints from the console by entering the correct passcode.
